The Hard Sayings of Jesus

Jesus meek and mild? Hardly.  Beyond the challenging words of Jesus come his “hard saying,” those that shake us out of our easy chairs and force us to reexamine what we thought we knew about God’s Good News.  In this lecture oriented class, we’ll talk about sixteen of these hard saying, hoping that Jesus’ words will lead us to the heart of our Christian faith.
