Meeting Jesus: His Life and Times
This class is a journey into the
life, words, and world of Jesus and what they mean for us today.
Into what sort of world was Jesus born? Why did he say what he
said? Do what he did? What was his mission or vocation?
Why did he die? What was the meaning of his death and
resurrection to his disciples? Why does any of this even
matter to us 2000 years later?
On this page you'll find downloadable files of the
overhead
slides from the class in full-page format and as 3-slides per page handouts. You'll also find
downloadable files of the weekly worksheets. The worksheets are a guide to weekly
Bible readings.
Note: You may download these resources at no cost, for
personal use or for use in a Christian ministry, as long as you are not
publishing it for sale. All we ask is that you give credit where credit is
due. For all other uses, please contact me at "sengle" at "scottengle.org" Thank you
You can also
download an example of the class syllabus. It will give you a better idea of how the class is put
together.
